About the Polycom Soundstation 2 EX Part # 2200-16200-001 You'll have the option of 2 expandable microphones — to cover larger rooms — with the SoundStation2 EX! Key improvements and additions to the award-winning original SoundStation include better voice pick-up and more natural, simultaneous two-way conversation. Now you can speak in a normal tone and be heard clearly up to 10 feet away from the microphones. This means no straining your ears and asking callers to repeat themselves! Smart technology, Dynamic Noise Reduction (DNR), provides maximum microphone sensitivity, while minimizing distracting background and room noise. In addition, the SoundStation2 EX offers 360-degree microphone coverage with intelligent mixing — so only the microphone closest to the speaker is on for crystal clear conferencing. Enjoy the new large backlit display, too! It lets you easily view your console phone number, number called, and duration and progress of your call. Installing the system is simple! Just plug the SoundStation2 EX directly into any analog phone jack. It can also be connected to a PBX with an analog extension, or to a digital-to-analog adapter.

Customers are responsible to make sure that the parts ordered are compatible. It should have the following located on the bottom of the conference unit : "Polycom Soundstation 2 EX ". Remember, there is a 20% re-stocking fee which we do not enjoy imposing.
